WEAR YOUR BABY!
Mother’s Necessary Accessories

Your City and State Here - Well adjusted, happy babies require constant human contact, awake and asleep. Babies who are held often, interacted with, responded to, and cuddled develop psychological and physical advantages over the less attached child. Even their IQ’s are affected positively. Until a baby is capable of voluntarily climbing off their parent’s lap, they thrive on love and prompt care for their continuous needs.

Health care facilities are using several avenues to promote these bonding and breastfeeding behaviors. The method that is achieving the greatest success is the use of the Over the Shoulder Baby Holder. This sling style baby carrier reinforces this healthy nurturing style through all stages of development, from newborn to toddlerhood. It is the only baby carrier endorsed by over one hundred credentialed health care professionals including birthing educators, lactation consultants, chiropractors, pediatricians, hospitals and universities.

The Over the Shoulder Baby Holder is ideal for parents searching for methods to carry their young children close, while leaving their hands free to work, exercise or socialize. This well constructed carrier provides babies with a safe, cozy environment where they stay close to mom or dad. Unlike conventional baby carriers, the Over the Shoulder Baby Holder is designed to encourage good posture for the infant; the legs are kept together in the first few months, the head is supported and the natural line of the spine is followed. It provides an excellent transition from the womb and is ideal for breastfeeding in public. Older babies can sit up in the carrier in a variety of positions as the sides are softly padded for comfort and support.

The Over the Shoulder Baby Holder is made of designer fabrics to compliment the mother’s personality, adding an attractive accessory to her clothing, rather than a reflection of the baby’s nursery. The Over the Shoulder Baby Holder is not being marketed through national retail chain stores in order to keep a personal dialogue with the mothers who use them. Selected health care professionals and mothers like Your Name Here are distributors.

Cost of each Baby Holder is $00.00 plus $0.00 shipping. To order your sling or for more information, call:

AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE
BEGINS WITH BREASTFEEDING!

Your City and State Here - No formula exists that can substitute the healthy start provided the newborn with its mother’s milk. Study after study shows, for example, that babies who are not breastfed have higher rates of death, meningitis, childhood leukemia and other cancers, diabetes, respiratory illnesses, bacterial and viral infections, diarrhea diseases, otitis media, allergies, obesity and developmental delays. And, women who do not breast feed demonstrate a higher risk for breast and ovarian cancers.

The World Healthcare Organization recommends breastfeeding for at least two years. However, only 62% of American newborns are started on breast milk, and only 6% are nursed after the first year. We are a country with relatively little exposure to the benefits of breast feeding for both the infant and mother, while in most parts of the world no one gives a second thought to the sight of a nursing mother. A large segment of both men and women here are frankly embarrassed at the sight of a baby dining on mother’s milk in public.

Now, there is great news for newborns and their mothers. Your Name Here who strongly believes in the benefits of breastfeeding, experienced the reluctance of others to watch, while she provided nutrition for her growing family. So Your Name Here began to offer nursing moms an exclusive line of cutting edge fashions unique to the nursing mom called Simply Delicious Nursingwear.

Every dress, top, skirt, and pant is designed to flatter the postpartum figure and to enable the mother to breastfeed discreetly, with simplicity. Each garment is so original, with indiscernible nursing features, It can be worn as a conventional outfit long after the baby is weaned. "My desire is to make it easier for all new mothers to nurse as freely and uninhibited as nature intended."

A free catalogue of various clothing styles and products that enhance the natural grace and beauty of the infant-parent bond is available by calling:

MOTHERING IN THE MILLENIUM

Your Name and State Here - Mothers in the new millennium have evolved into individuals who are concerned with the quality of their family’s well-being...from the way they give birth, to the cereal they buy for their children, Americans are now choosing a healthier lifestyle.

The National Academy of Pediatrics, the World Health Organization, La Leche League International, and many others are informing us that breastfed babies benefit from an enormously increased immunity to a whole host of diseases, and their moms are at lower risk of breast and uterine cancers. Sixty two percent of today’s U.S. mothers are giving their babies the optimum start by breastfeeding. Of equal, or even greater importance, the work ‘bonding’ has become a household word in American homes. Parents realize that babies who are held often, interacted with, responded to, and cuddled develop psychological and physical advantages over the less attached child. Even their IQ’s are affected positively.

Over one thousand hospitals, birthing educators, lactation consultants, doctors, nurses, chiropractors, La Leche League leaders, WIC, United Way, and Red Cross encourage those they care about to become better attached to their babies using an Over the Shoulder Baby Holder. The company also manufacturers cutting edge fashions called Simply Delicious Nursingwear unique to the nursing mom. Every dress, top, skirt, and pant is designed to flatter the postpartum figure and to enable the mother to breastfeed discreetly, with simplicity. Each garment is so original, with indiscernible nursing features, It can be worn as a conventional outfit long after the baby is weaned. HELPFUL HINTS

To write news releases that have a better chance of making it into print, follow these dimple steps:

  • Find out specifically who to send it to at the publication. Look for the articles and sections (Lifestyle, Home, Family) that relate to your story. Check bylines on similar articles (how to furnish a nursery, or great gift ideas) to determine which writer is most likely to be interest in your release.
  • If you can, get a copy of an editorial calendar, which will give you an idea of possible themes to tie into in future issues, and send your release at the right time.
  • Don’t make it a blatant plug for your company. Publications sell advertising space. They don’t give it away in the form of articles. Stress benefits over features. Emphasize how the sling or your service will enhance the customer’s life rather than what the product or service actually does.
  • Proofread for errors.
  • Start strong, and keep it as brief and to the point as possible. Keep it clear. Don’t get too technical or wordy.
  • Know who will be interested in your release. Determine which publications cater to your audience and send it only to them.
  • Be sure to give a contact name and phone number on your release.
  • Include a professionally taken color print with an identification label. Be sure to indicate that additional information and interviews are available upon request.
  • Include a cover letter that tells why you think the enclosed materials will be of interest to the target audience. Polish the package. Make sure everything - especially the editor’s name is spelled correctly and check your grammar carefully. Assemble the materials neatly in a folder, with your name on the outside or a business card on the inside. Enclose a brochure about the baby carrier too.
  • Call. Never just pop a press release into the mail. No matter how terrific a story you have or how well a press release is written, your opportunity may well vanish into thin air unless you call the editor or producer to follow up. Call the editor before you send materials to pique his interest, then follow up afterward to confirm receipt, answer questions and determine if anything further is needed to clinch the story. Keep trying. Don’t be discouraged. If one editor turns a story down, try another angle, another editor, or, depending on the circumstances, the same editor at another time.

Lorna Weixelman from Wichita, KS, mother of seven girls (and you say you don’t have the time). She wrote one press release which turned into a two page featured article in her local newspaper on "Embracing the Art of Babywearing." Several other newspapers across the country caught wind of it and from that Orange County, Oklahoma and Texas to my knowledge, also ran Full Page Articles in the Arts, Family and Living sections of their newspapers.
