This is an outline of a few specifics you should know if you are a distributor, but we sometimes forget to mention.

• Minimum Orders are 6 slings, except when ordering Large and Petite sizes; after your initial order of 6 you may order Large and Petites one at a time just when you need them.
• Wholesale price for 6-9 slings is $24.95 each. 10 or more slings are $24.45 each. Free shipping in the contiguous U.S. on orders exceeding $1,000.00 (standard ground shipping—slings rolled unpackaged, approximately 15 per box).
• Individual slings and nursing wear can be drop-shipped to your customer directly for a minimum $7.95 shipping charge.
• One 20-minute ‘How to Tie One On’ instructional video or DVD (your choice) is included FREE with each 6 slings ordered at one time. Additional instructional videos or DVD’s are available for $3.00 each.
• Our Extravagant Love Slings come in 100% Organic Cotton, True-Blue Tie-Dye, “Name” designer prints and Authentic Bali Batiks. These wholesale for $34.95 each.
• We welcome special orders in your customer’s own fabric for an additional $10.00 special handling fee. We will need 3 yards of fabric (approximately the same weight as our swatches) and size needed. Please allow 2-3 weeks for special orders.
• Also available are custom size slings. If our regular Large size sling is not large enough for your customer, we are happy to cut any length longer for an additional $10.00. Please call for measurement instructions and fabric availability.
• Occasionally we have RACK slings available. These are slings that are either unpopular colors, fabrics that are too thick, stained or may contain a printing flaw. These slings are not defective, only what we would consider seconds. You may order these for $15.00 (call for availability), and are also refundable if not satisfied. Many distributors purchase these to use as demos, for free-drawings, or discount them to their customers.
• Distributors are entitled to 20% off all nursing clothing in our Simply Delicious Nursingwear catalog (excluding leggings).
• CDM will pay up to $40.00 booth fee for you to exhibit at your local La Leche League state conference. The first distributor per state to mail us the conference contract and balance over $40.00, we will enclose our portion and return to the exhibits chair person. (Call first for availability to be sure no one else has already applied).
• CDM will not pay any portion of any other type of street fair, swap meet, hospital or mall show. These type of events may have potential to make a profit, but we only pay a portion of LLL conferences.
• CDM will sell any distributor doing any type of promotional event as many slings as they would like or think they would need to make an attractive display with a guarantee to buy back up to 25 unsold slings afterwards.
• All distributors of our slings have our permission and encouragement to reprint any information we provide you with your new introductory distributorship packet, to promote their business as long as they are indeed selling our slings.

SPECIAL ORDERS We are happy to take ‘special orders’ for your customers who need a larger size than our normal Large, or who desire their own fabric over ours. Special orders cost $10.00 over normal wholesale prices and take 2 to 3 weeks. To measure how much longer to make a sling for a larger person, start with a regular large size on the person. Then, loosen the tail through the rings down below the label. Stop when it fits comfortably. Then tell us the number of inches below the label you went. That is how many inches we will add to the body of the sling, allowing the same amount of adjustment as a normal sling. When ordering a sling out of your customers own fabric, please send 3 yards of fabric and specify the size needed. Your custom fabric m ust be the same weight as our swatches. *We do stock a small supply of XL slings in that are 6” longer than our normal Large size. These are available immediately for $10.00 more and are refundable if not a perfect fit!

Most people have to see it to believe it; that’s why street fairs, conferences, and shows are so profitable. First, you are exposed to large crowds. Second when people can actually ‘feel’ for themselves how really wonderful the sling is, they are instantly sold! If you’re seriously into bonding, nursing, and nurturing your baby, then that is the market to target.

Every state has a yearly La Leche League conference. They are usually a one or two day event providing information on breastfeeding and parenting that goes beyond the topics of regular LLL series meetings. (You don’t have to be a leader or even a member to exhibit). We always attend the International LLL Conference which is held every two years, but we can’t possibly cover every state, every year. So, our offer to you is CDM will pay up to $40.00 booth fee for you to exhibit at your local upcoming LLL conference (first come, first serve per state). By being a Home Distributor the fee is sometimes not even that much. You may want to first call us to see that your state is still available for this offer.

Next, you need to contact the exhibition chairperson in your state for local conference dates and contracts. Acceptance into the conference is up to your state conference leaders. Mail us your contract with the balance due (if any), we will enclose our $40.00 and mail directly back to the person in charge. We will then mail you a copy of our check and your contract. We feel you will need at least 25 assorted slings to make an attractive display. We will gladly refund up to 25 unsold slings afterwards. (Also big sellers are our Kidslings and Kid-Tee’s). Not only will you sell a lot of slings, the contacts you make will be priceless!

What Are Area Conferences?
Every profession sponsors conferences at which participants can learn from each other as well as speakers. Outside sessions they network, share experiences and gain new ideas for tackling their dayto- day concerns. Well, parenting is our most important profession and you can go to conferences, too! Each of the conferences listed below is designed specifically for parents, those who are breastfeeding and those who are exploring the later years of childhood. The hotel halls are filled with babies, mothers, dads and older children. The playrooms resound with laughter and toddlers play happily on the floor in session rooms.
